  2. I think that the hushed app is a good idea because it deletes your conversation with somebody right after they get done reading it.

  3. I don't think it is necessary to use a "fake" phone number. Unless you need to contact someone for one thing and you don't want them texting you ever again or not knowing any of your information, I don't like this idea. If I had to choose one app I would probably pick hushed because it seemed the simplest.

  4. i think it is necessary to have a fake phone number because nothing bad could happen to your normal number. I'd call someone who was possibly bothering me and be someone else. i'd use Hush.

  5. I think the app "hushed" is pretty smart because it'll delete everything right then and there. It's a smart idea to use this app when your meeting someone new and you don't know if they are someone that you can just give your number to. So it'll be smart to use this app till you get comfortable with the person.

  7. I don't think its necessary to have a fake number.Unless you want to prank call somebody or something else then i guess its fine.A way I would use this if I wanted to call someone out and them not knowing it was me.

  9. I think its necessary to use a fake phone number when you're first meeting someone new and the ask for it. You don't quite know the person and don't know who they are and they could be capable of a lot by just having your number. I would use the app hushed.

  10. I dont think anyone needs a "fake" number unless if you want to goof with a person and prank call them. the app that i would choose is hushed because it deletes the conversation you have with the people.

  11. I think it's necessary because you wouldn't want to use your real number to give to a complete stranger. People can prank call you , give it to othrs etc.. It's important that you use a fake number now and days. Its also a way people can stalk and intimidate you. It"s also a way people can hack you phone.

  12. I really don't see the point of these because there's many other apps out there you can use for pretty much the same thing. For example, you can download the app "textnow" and do the same things except text now app doesn't delete your conversations and it doesn't give you a limited amount of calls or texts. There's just really no point to have extra space on your phone for this. Also, you can use *67 before a number you're about to call so it shows up as private number on their phone. If I had to choose, I'd pick hushed because it deletes the messages automatically after the other person seen it. Don't want your business getting out :)

  13. maybe you could use one of these apps for if you wanna call or text someone but you know they aren't gonna answer if you just use your regular cell number. or maybe if you wanna cheat on your girlfriend/boyfriend. i wouldn't use any of these apps.

  14. (keith)..... i would say the burner app because you can spend more time on that app before you run out of minutes and have to download a new one and i would say it is safe to have a fake number because you may not want certain people to have your real number so why not text them off of that one and then when you have said what you had to say to that person you can delete your number from the app and download a new one if u want

  17. I think the "Hushed" app would be useful. You can give this number to someone that you just met, but you'll still be safe if theyre a creep.

  18. There already apps like the one here. I see no point in it. I've used said apps and they work just fine. I think these guys are just trying DropBox and Evernote. Theres no need for another trapping app, already to many.

  19. I like how you can use a fake phone number because you might meet someone one night and you don't want to give them your real phone number, because you don't really know who they are or what their past is and all of that important stuff. Once you get to know them better you could give them your real number but this app is a safe way to get to know people you just met and aren't too sure of who they are just yet.

  20. Using a fake phone number may be necessary in many situations. One example may be when a girl is being sexually harassed, if she had a burner phone number, she would be able to stop the harassment by deleting her phone number. Another example you could use a fake phone number for is when you are being bullied, you could delete your number and they would never be able to reach you again. These are just a couple examples of how you could use a fake phone number. I would not use any of these apps because I have no reason to use them.

  21. I think its necessary because what if you don't want certain people to have your real phone number and if your phone is off you can download the app to get in touch with people to let them know that your phone is off.

  22. I do not think that it is necessary to have a "fake" phone number. This technique could get a lot of people in a lot of trouble. Personally I just think that it is not right. If i had to use one of the applications in the video I would use Hushed. Hushed seems more simple to use.

  23. I feel the app is a pretty good idea. Online stalking is a big problem now, and making fake numbers for people you barely know is a good idea. If you have to do some sort of purchase like a used car or something, you give them the fake number, and after you delete, they won't be able to follow you. Also if you give fake numbers to companies, they won't be able to bombard you with telemarketing. People can be unpredictable and if they have your number, they can most likely contact you whenever they feel like it and use it to their advantage.

  24. i can only imagine undercover cops and sneaky people using these apps, but if i had to chose i would go with the hushed app. i would let me set it so it can automatically delete calls and texts plus i could private message others who use the app.

  25. I think that using a "fake" phone number is not necessary. I think that the only time I would want to use a fake phone number would be if I wanted to call someone, but I know that the person isn't going to answer, then I would download that app. I can't think of a reason why a person would want a fake number, aside from privacy.

  26. I don't think this is necessary, like why does it matter if your number is private. If u don't want people to know your number then don't give it out to people plus a phone its used for communicating with other people. I think the app is just a waste of time most people wouldn't download it. Because it would just take up space on your phone and it wouldn't be used.

  27. I would choose the burner app in my opinion, because it will give you more time for texting. The app is useful because you don't have to use your real number but have a fake number so you can be safe and if you want you can just make a new number if you want. But to be honest i would use none of these i would just use star 66 and call it a day.
